Adult Enrichment
Contact: Meg O’Neill through the Parish Office at ext. 34.
The Adult Enrichment Ministry at Holy Family is dedicated to educating and aiding our adults in their faith journey. Our hope is to establish a community where all are encouraged to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Church. This is accomplished through our varied opportunities listed below.
- First Saturday Mass, October through May. Confessions and Rosary, 8am, followed by Mass at 8:30am in the Chapel.
- Parish Mission which is scheduled one week of each year to celebrate and expand our faith experience.
- Cenacle Prayer Groups – Individual small groups who come together weekly to pray the rosary and read the book “True Devotion,” by St. Louis deMonfort. Contact Connie Crupi at Connie.crupi@verizon.net
- Charismatic Bilingual Prayer Group – Meets weekly in the chapel to pray for special needs, share testimonies and learn through informative lectures. Hosts retreats and Masses through out the year. Contact Rose King at 410-956-6827.
- Guest Speakers – Scheduled periodically for educational purposes.
- Holy Hours – Pray the rosary and enjoy quiet meditation before the Blessed Sacrament, the first Monday of each month at 7:30pm in the Chapel, sponsored by the Rosary and Cenacle groups.
- Lent/Advent Prayer Books – Distributed seasonally as a prayer tool.
- Marriage Preparation – Married couples from our parish receive training from the Archdiocese to assist engaged couples with their preparation for marriage. Contact Cindy and Ron Travers at 410-451-3396.
- MOMS Ministry – Small groups meet as an opportunity for women to develop self-esteem, relationship skills, and a more defined sense of their own spirituality at a time when they are facing the difficult challenges of raising a family. Contact Christy Cosgrove at 410-798-5837.
- Novenas in preparation of Holy Days and Parish intentions – Advertised in the bulletin with copies available in the narthex.
- Prayer Retreats – The Parish Mission is scheduled for November 30th through December 2nd. Cenacle Prayer Group hosts a springtime retreat.
- Social Justice Committee – Working for the dignity and respect of every life. Charitable giving is coordinated with the Pastoral Council, Food drive is coordinated with Religious Education to provide the Light House Shelter in Annapolis with one month of pantry items. Our youth attend the Youth Rally and March for Life by bus with our Pastor. Contact Kathy Duffy at 410-956-2753.
- Scripture Study – Scheduled Wednesday AM and Wednesday PM. Many materials are used to explore our faith. Contact Chuck and Sally Miller at 410-798-4884 for Wednesday evening. Contact Judy McCahill at 410-956-4170 for Wednesday morning.
- Separated, Divorced, Widowed Group – Meet monthly for fun and friendship, Friday evenings, Classroom 7. Contact Paul Natishan at 410-507-3109.
Faith and Light Ministry

Fellowship Ministry
Coordinator/Contact: Joan Jenkins through the Parish Office, ext 23.
Purpose: To create an atmosphere of friendliness and belonging among members of Holy Family Catholic Church. Some of the events we use for this purpose are as follows:
- Host Welcoming Reception – to welcome new members to the church community and to provide a forum for them to meet one another and other Holy Family members
- Periodic weekend, after-Mass coffee and donut socials -- to encourage fellowship and reach volunteers for various church social and ministry functions that are available to members.
- Annual Parish Picnic – sponsored by our Pastoral Council and provides fun, fellowship and great food for all ages.
- We are Family” Breakfast – to encourage family participation.
We also assist where needed to make Holy Family Catholic Church a comfortable and welcoming church family and parish
Lazarus Committee
Contact: Please contact the Parish Office.
The committee provides a luncheon after a funeral for the family and friends of the deceased to gather together to share loving memories and fellowship. It is through the generous donations of our parishioners that we are able to provide this ministry.
If you would like to volunteer to help out this ministry by helping with cooking & delivering a food donation, or helping to prepare & set-up for the luncheon and/or serve & clean-up after the luncheon, please contact Kay Cole through the Parish Office.
Liturgy Committee
Contact: Ruth Milano (Chair), or members Maureen Konschnik, Ann Stagnaro and Sue Kilby through the Parish Office.
Mission Statement: To enhance the worship of Holy Family Church through prayer, music and environment.
In general, the liturgy committee ensures that all necessary components of liturgical worship is provided for the parish. Physically, the committee keeps the sanctuary decorated in keeping with the changing liturgical seasons in terms of banners, flowers, altar cloths, etc. It also sees that a sufficient number of trained ministers are available to serve as lectors, ushers, extraordinary ministers, and altar servers. It keeps abreast of liturgical changes and implements them as necessary. It works closely with the music director advising and supporting as needed. It keeps inventory of liturgical supplies making sure that items are kept in good condition and replenished when necessary.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 9:30am in the Sacristy. Extra volunteers are needed to decorate the church at Christmas and Easter.
Music Ministry

9:30 Liturgical Choir:
- leads the congregation in song each week at the 9:30 a.m. Mass
- rehearses once a week on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00pm.
F.Y.I. (FOR YOUR INSPIRATION):
- sings at the 11am Mass once a month.
- rehearses Sunday evenings from 5:30pm - 7:00pm.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR ("HOLY FAMILY CHORISTERS"):
- sings at several liturgies during the school year, including First Eucharist.
- rehearses Sunday afternoons from 4:15 to 5:15pm.
CANTORS (LEADER OF SONG):
- proclaim the biblical Word of God during the Liturgy of the Word, singing the verses of the responsorial psalm and leading the people in the refrain of that psalm.
- meet periodically as a group to discuss concerns and study vocal skills.
INSTRUMENTALISTS:
- accompany at the keyboard or on other instruments.
Youth and Young Adult Ministry

Our Youth Ministry Program at Holy Family provides an opportunity for the youth of the parish to experience spiritual growth in a safe nurturing environment.
GOD’S YOUTH MINISTRY (G.Y.M.): Our High School Youth Group meets every Sunday of the month, with the exception of some holiday weekends. Throughout the summer, we will meet off-site due to construction. Meetings will run from 7:00pm - 9:30pm, offering a chance to hang out and enjoy each other's company while enjoying spiritual discussions. Anyone in the 9th through 12th grade is welcome to attend any of our meetings. If interested, email Ben Lorenz at youthministry@hfccmail.org to receive email updates with the weekly meeting site.
YOUTH MASS:We will be having our Youth Mass every fourth Sunday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at 11:00am in the Chapel. The youth take full participation during the Mass. The music is provided by the youth choir, For Your Inspiration (FYI).
All are welcome to attend, but the Mass is geared especially for young people between 6th and 12th grade. come and join with us and bring your friends for an uplifting spiritual experience.
JESUS AND ME (JAM): This is our Middle School Youth Group. JAM meets on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Throughout the summer, we will meet off-site due to construction. Meetings will run from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. We hang out and enjoy each other's company with sports and other games while planning other events and maintaining spiritual discussions to help kids in the real world. JAM is open to all students in the 6th through 8th grades. If interested, email Ben Lorenz at youthministry@hfccmail.org to receive email updates with the weekly meeting site.
YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY: This ministry consists of young adults from ages 18 to 35. We are presently in the planning stages of this program. If you are interested in this program and would like to have some input in planning upcoming events, please contact Ben Lorenz at 301-655-6412.
