STUDY DESCRIPTIONS:
EXODUS (PART 2)--This study covers the 40 years of wandering in the desert by the Israelites, from the time after crossing the Red Sea to standing on the threshold of the Promised Land. It is the important period during which God gives the Israelites the Ten Commandments and establishes a covenant with them. You do NOT need to have taken Part One to participate in this class! DATES: January 9-February 27, 2023; Monday evenings, 7:00-8:30 PM, in Classrooms 12/13.
THE WILD GOOSE--This excellent video series on the Holy Spirit with presenter, Fr. Dave Pivonka, is a wonderful way to learn about the Holy Spirit in order to more readily "tune into the Spirit's voice" as He provides guidance and wisdom; grow deeper in love with Jesus Christ; and to better use the gifts of the Spirit. Wednesdays, January 11 to mid-April, with 2 sections from which to choose: Wed. mornings, 10:00-11:30 AM OR Wed. evenings, 7:00-8:30 PM. Both groups meet in Unity Hall.
(FOR LENT) BISHOP ROBERT BARRON'S THE MASS--This profound study dives deeply into the theological aspects of the Mass, allowing one to better understand how to fully, consciously, and actively participate in the Mass. It will be offered on Tuesdays, February 14-April 4, with 2 sections from which to choose: Tues. mornings, 10:00-11:30 AM OR Tues. evenings, 7:00-8:30 PM. Both groups meet in Unity Hall.
WALKING WITH PURPOSE WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY, "Grounded in Hope"--Based on the Book of Hebrews, this study aims to help women encounter Jesus in a very powerful, comforting, and stabilizing way, so that Jesus may become one's lifeline. There are 2 sections from which to choose: Mondays, 10:00-11:30 AM, beginning January 9; OR Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 PM, beginning January 12. Both groups meet in classrooms 12/13.
