St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) Society
|
The St. Vincent DePaul society was founded in 1833, in France to help harness the power of community and partnerships to feed, clothe, house and help individuals and families in need in our community. The Holy Family chapter of SVDP was formed in the late 1970’s and has been active ever since.
We now have eight active members from our parish who meet weekly, here at the parish, with clients in need from the South Anne Arundel County area. We provide assistance with housing, utilities, food, medical and any other needs they might have during trying times. We receive almost 100% of our funds from YOU through your contributions to the poor boxes in the church. Every dollar contributed goes directly to those in need, we don’t give cash but pay bills directly. Our goal is to offer a hand up not just a hand out. Thank you for your continuing support to our mission. With your support, we provide:
Your contributions—through poor boxes in the church and through online giving—make a real difference. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. May God bless you and your family. For more information contact: Nick Pessagno at [email protected]. |
