1) Foundations of the Faith: A Journey Through the Catechism of the Catholic Church (From Ascension)
Learn how the Catechism is more than just a reference book or a summary of Catholic beliefs! It is presented as a "love letter from God." Through this study we will take a deep dive into our rich Catholic Faith by reading portions of the Catechism and watching visually stunning videos.
The sessions start on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and will be offered at both 10-11:30 AM and at 7-8:30 PM in Unity Hall. Study book fee is $40. Contact Margaret Wood to register at: [email protected].
2) Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance
This 8-week study and video series from Ascension will be offered exclusively to women-only group. Here we will thoroughly examine Saint Paul's Letter to the Ephesians and learn more about God's grace, salvation, and practical guidance for discipleship. Choose between attending classes on Tuesdays, from 10:00 am-11:30 am beginning September 8, or classes on Thursdays, from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm, beginning on September 10. Both groups are held in Rooms 12/13. Study book fee is $30. Contact Margaret Wood to register at: [email protected].
3) “Disciples in Christ” Discussion Group: Not a bible study, but a philosophical discussion group in which the writings of Thomas Merton, Bishop Barron, Richard Rohr, Pope Francis, and others are read and discussed for weeks at a time. The group is reading the book, God, Philosophy, Universities: A Selective History of the Catholic Philosophical Tradition by Alasdair MacIntyre.
Gatherings are held on Fridays, 10:00-11:30 AM in Rms. 12/13. Join at any time, no registration needed!
