1) Life Everlasting: Heaven, Hell, Death, and Judgment
This is a study designed for today’s busy lives. Each session combines clear teaching, meaningful reflection, and practical application—helping you understand what the Church teaches about death, judgment, heaven, purgatory, and hell, and why these truths are meant to fill you with hope. With powerful videos and easy-to-follow readings, you’ll gain lasting insight into the last things and discover how living with eternity in mind gives everyday life deeper meaning and purpose.
The sessions start on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 and will be offered at both 10-11:30 AM and at 7-8:30 PM in Unity Hall. Contact Margaret Wood to register at: [email protected].
2) Little Rock Scripture Study on the Acts of the Apostles
The Acts of the Apostles, Part One follows Jesus' apostles who, empowered by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, become evangelists and pastors and expand the early Church to include Gentiles. Part Two follows Paul, a model of courage and missionary spirit, as he works tirelessly to spread the Gospel message to the world.
Sessions start Monday, January 5, from 7-8:30 PM in Rms. 12/13. Part One is five sessions and Part Two is four sessions. To register & for more information, contact Tina Delaney at [email protected].
3) “Disciples in Christ” Discussion Group: Not a bible study, but a philosophical discussion group in which the writings of Thomas Merton, Bishop Barron, Richard Rohr, Pope Francis, and others are read and discussed for weeks at a time. The group is reading the book, God, Philosophy, Universities: A Selective History of the Catholic Philosophical Tradition by Alasdair MacIntyre.
Gatherings are held on Fridays, 10:00-11:30 AM in Rms. 12/13. Join at any time, no registration needed!
