Matrimony
Care…. needs to be given to immediate preparation for matrimony. Such preparation includes the necessary paperwork and organizing the wedding ceremony, but the heart of all preparation should be a positive presentation of the meaning of the Sacrament of Matrimony within the setting of the couple’s relationship with God, their vocation from Him, and their involvement in the community of the Church. Please give at least six month’s notice of your intention to marry. Please phone, email or speak to the parish office, which can give additional information. |
"Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends." — 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a |
