Reflections on God’s Covenant in Stained Glass
A Pilgrimage of Our Stained Glass Windows
You are invited to take a pilgrimage of our stained glass windows...
To begin the pilgrimage, the first window, “Tribes of Israel,” is located at the back of the church on the right, facing the altar. Download the booklet (or click on the book cover), and follow along. Reflections on God's Covenant in Stained Glass The stained glass windows of this church are meant to remind us of the fundamental truth of God’s Covenant with us. A covenant is more than a contract. It is the commitment between two parties to be faithful to an agreement. For us the Covenant is God’s promise to be faithful to us. We are a People of God, chosen by Him and renewed and redeemed through the death and resurrection of His Son. The very basis of our Christian faith is the Covenant that God established with His people through Abraham, our father in faith. Jesus Christ is the perfection of that Covenant. At every Mass Christ comes to us in the Eucharist through the words, “The Blood of the New and Eternal Covenant.” We hope this pilgrimage helps you grow in faith and love of God. |
