Confession Times: Confessions are held in the confessional in the Church on Wednesdays at 5:00 pm, AND Saturdays at 3:30 pm, or by appointment. |
The Sacrament of Reconciliation—also called Confession—is one of Christ’s most powerful gifts to us. Through it, we experience God’s mercy, healing, and new life.
More than just the removal of sin, Reconciliation is a personal encounter with the Risen Lord, who lifts us from the weight of sin and restores us to grace. In the presence of the priest—who stands in the person of Christ and in the heart of the Church—we are not judged, but welcomed back with love and joy. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9 (RSV-CE) This is a sacrament of freedom and restoration—a moment when the Good Shepherd finds us, heals us, and brings us home. “There is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” — Luke 15:7 (RSV-CE) |
