The "9:15 Choir"
The “9:15 Choir” uses a variety of traditional and some contemporary liturgical music with their main focus on encouraging full, conscious and active participation by all. The choir sing each Sunday for the 9:15 a.m. Mass September through early June.  Rehearsal is every Thursday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The “9:15 Choir” also sing for holy day celebrations—Christmas Eve/Ash Wednesday/Good Friday/Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday. New members are always welcome. No audition is required but a willingness to join in praising God in song.  Contact Ron Brown at music4ronb@aol.com – put Choir in the subject on the email.

The Men's Choir
The Men’s Choir uses a variety of traditional and some contemporary liturgical music with the main focus on encouraging full, conscious and active participation by all. The choir sing only on the first Sunday of the month for the 11:15 a.m. Mass September through early June. Rehearsal is every Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Men’s Choir also sing for holy day celebrations—Christmas Eve/Good Friday. New members are always welcome. No audition is required but a willingness to join in praising God in song.  Contact Ron Brown at music4ronb@aol.com – put HFC Music in the subject on the email.

Children's Choir: The Choristers*
The Choristers is an ensemble for children ages 5 to 12 with their main focus on encouraging full, conscious and active participation by all. The Choristers sing on the 2nd Sunday of each month at the 11:15 a.m. Mass September through May.  They only rehearse three Sunday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the second Sunday. The Choristers also sing at the Christmas Eve/Easter Sunday and Mother’s Day Masses. New members are always welcome. No audition is required.  Contact Ron Brown at music4ronb@aol.com - put HFC Music in the subject on the email. *Out of an abundance of caution, the Choristers are currently not rehearsing or singing. Please watch for further updates.

Cantors
Cantors (teens and adults) are visible leaders in our liturgies who possess the tools to lead prayer and worship through music. They are responsible for proclaiming the Responsorial Psalm and leading the assembly in song and occasionally teach the assembly new hymns. Cantors meet with the music director separately as needed. Cantors minister at the Saturday 5:00pm Mass and Sunday 7:45 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Masses.  Some experience in singing alone is necessary.  Contact Ron Brown at music4ronb@aol.com -- put HFC Music in the subject on the email.

The Contemporary Ensemble
The Contemporary Ensemble sings for the 11:15 a.m. Mass on the 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month.  The Contemporary Ensemble uses a variety of contemporary liturgical music, in a praise and worship style, encouraging a deeper connection to the Readings.  Their are no outside rehearsals.  We meet before the Mass to learn or fine tune the music before singing.  Ability to read music is a plus but not required.  Contact Bill MacDonald at jandbmac@verizon.net for more detailed information.
