For more information about how to get involved with the Sew Time Ministry contact Barbara Harmel (barbara.harmel@gmail.com) or Pam Hines (hinesjp@verizon.net). Sew Angels:

Our ministry has lots of upcoming projects and updates.  Thanks for all your help in reaching out to so many in need.

Happy New Year to all our sew angels!  We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meeting on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 6:30pm in HF Classrooms 12&13.  We will be working on walker totes, fidget sensory mats and adult bibs.  If you are unable to attend and need patterns/supplies let us know.  In addition, AAMC has made a plea for baby hats (knitted and crocheted) – we have baby yarn and patterns available upon request.

Mark your calendar(s) and get your tickets early for the upcoming Haiti Bull Roast on February 4th at OLPH (see attached flyer).  There were will be delicious food from Bayside, Quilt raffle, 50/50 raffle and great silent auction items, as well as “cow” themed auction/games.  Fun will be had by all.  Spread the word.

Volunteers needed to assist with Haiti Bull Roast/Quilt Raffle ticket sales the weekend of January 21-22 at HF Narthex.  Let us know if you can assist with any of the masses.  In addition, we are reaching out to ministry groups regarding gift cards for local restaurants to be included in our silent auction basket – any help with this would be most appreciated as well.

“Saving Lives 1 Mask at a time”:  There are mask kits available on the supply porch.  In addition, we have a bag of crocheted ear savers that just need buttons added - if you like to hand sew – this kit is available for pick up too.  To date we have distributed 12,534 masks, 481 scrub caps and 802 ear savers.

Lenten Challenge: Please watch for our Lent Challenge for 2023!

Keep watching for further events sponsored by the Sew Time Ministry!
