Archdiocese Chapter 11 Claims Information
January 31, 2024
As you are aware, on September 29, 2023, the Archdiocese of Baltimore filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Reorganization. As this process moves forward, there are actions that each parish will be undertaking to fulfill the court ordered requirements.
This message is meant to inform our parish community of the deadline date of May 31, 2024 to file a claim against the Archdiocese of Baltimore and to inform our community where to find the claim form. The Publication Notice and the Sexual Abuse Claims Deadline Notice can be downloaded via the buttons at above. Any individual wishing to file a claim can find more information at www.archbalt.org.
We are sharing this information in our bulletin, online, and in the back of Church.
Thank you for your patience as I share this information with you. I understand this announcement is a reminder of a tragic time for victim-survivors.
As a Church we continue to pray for all victim-survivors and we remain vigilant in the Church’s commitment to preventing abuse and protecting children and other vulnerable persons.
