Mary Pilgrimage
Bring the Blessed Virgin Mary Statue to Your Home In May and June

The primary purpose of the Pilgrim Virgin Statue home family visitation is to aid families in responding to the requests made by the Blessed Mary during her apparitions at Fatima. The essence of her requests is threefold:
  1. Return to God: Turn away from sin and obey the Ten Commandments.
  2. Make reparation for sins: Turn away from sin and obey the Ten Commandments, practice some form of penance and sacrifice in atonement for our own sins and the sins of others.
  3. Pray the Rosary for peace: She asked us to pray the Rosary every day.

Mary’s statue will stay with your family for one week. The Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Mary is escorted to the home from Saturday 5 pm mass to the following Saturday 5 pm mass.

The commitment required of those families desiring to welcome Mary into their homes is threefold.
  1. Make a special effort to avoid sin during her presence.
  2. Perform some form of penance or sacrifice during the week of her visit in reparation for sin.
  3. Pray the Rosary for Peace. She asked us to pray the Rosary every day.

Take the “Fresh Flower Pledge”. Pledge to make certain that you keep fresh flowers on your May altar throughout the week.
