Pastor's Message
April 20-21, 2024 - Fourth Sunday of Easter
Our Adult Lecture Series continues this Sunday, Apr 21st at 11:45am in Unity Hall with a presentation on “Dementia 101: Understanding the Changes and Developing Coping Skills” by Mary Chaput, MA, CDP; Director, Family Caregiver Support Programs here in Anne Arundel County.
The workshop session will provide a basic understanding of Dementia and how it affects the individual diagnosed and their caregivers. Communication tools and strategies for coping with changing behaviors in the lives of loved ones, friends, and neighbors.
Do you or a family member need physical or spiritual healing? Rev. Dan Leary, Pastor of St. John the Evangelist in Clinton, MD., will celebrate a Healing Mass here at Holy Family on this coming Tuesday, Apr 23rd at 7pm in the Church. I will be concelebrating the Mass with Fr. Dan that evening.
I invite Seniors in our parish and in our greater community to join us for a luncheon and fellowship this coming Wednesday, Apr 24th at Noon in Unity Hall. Please RSVP by Sunday, Apr 21st to Sue Hickman at 410-507-5566.
Lastly, I thank the volunteers who helped put together “NORA’S KNAPSACKS” here this past Thursday. Please take a knapsack or two after you leave Mass today and keep it in your vehicle and then give the knapsack to a person in need in the community. Extra knapsacks can be found in the Upper Gallery during the week.
